Greetings! I'm Angella Ahn, Artistic Director of the Montana Chamber Music Society.
Whether you are young or old, an experienced concert goer or musical novice, we welcome you. Our goal is to enrich your life with beautiful music and stretch your imagination by transporting you to different musical eras and diverse parts of the world through our programs. We want to enliven your community by bringing people together in concert.
As the violinist of the Ahn Trio, there is nothing dearer to my heart than chamber music, and I am thrilled for the opportunity to share my true love with all of you. Chamber music is about intimate conversations. Without words, the instruments “talk” to each other, sharing joy, sadness, hope . . . deep emotions we are familiar with.
Please join us in these conversations! I look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones at our upcoming events. Your continued support will ensure the future of chamber music throughout Montana.
Here’s to seeing you, in person, at our concerts this season!
This year‘s Festival and season is dedicated with immense gratitude to James and Bea Taylor in partial thanks for their extraordinary generosity and vision.
We will begin our annual summer Montana Chamber Music Festival the week of July 5-11. On July 6 we have a special book (The Nightingale's Sonata) presentation and signing by Thomas Wolf (with a performance of Franck's Violin Sonata), our annual performance in Reynolds Hall on July 8, and performances in the historic Trinity Episcopal Church in Ennis (July 10), and St. Timothy's Chapel in Georgetown Lake (July 11).
Stay tuned for more information on the season. This season we will be able to sell season tickets!
We hope to see you at our concerts!
